the context layer for fast moving sales teams

B2B Sales

Salesgraph equips reps with the most relevant context throughout the deal stage, providing proactive pre-call notes and post-call next steps. Sellers are CEOs of their deals; they need to know who the buyer is, what triggered them to take the first call, what their pain points are, how much value this new tool is bringing, are there any technical blockers, etc. A sale is only good when it doesn't feel like a sale to your customer, but rather the sales rep solved a problem for the customer. This was the problem Ricardo and I solved at Mintlify. We created a business case generator that took in call recordings, background news triggers and job updates, Mintlify's ROI and Pricing calculator, past deals won, and customer case studies --> produced a 3 page document expressing the value Mintlify provided + why the quote presented is justifiable. In doing so we closed more enterprise deals at a higher ACV as our champion was able to build a better purchasing case internally. Our goal is to empower every sales team to close deals at a higher ACV, while making sure reps learn from their mistakes and create a smooth sales experience for their end customer.

Score Breakdown

Team 9/10

Ruhan Ponnada's background at Salesforce and Google, coupled with his CMU/Berkeley education, indicates strong technical and product development capabilities. Ricardo Nunez's Stanford education and focus on sales operations are a good complement. While Ricardo's specific sales experience isn't detailed, the combination suggests a solid foundation for building a sales tech product. [Boost +1: Founder from Google]

Market 8/10

The B2B sales enablement market is massive and continuously growing, driven by the increasing complexity of sales cycles and the need for data-driven insights. The timing is opportune as AI and automation are rapidly transforming sales processes. Competition is fierce, but a strong contextual layer could carve out a significant niche.

Product 6/10

The concept of a 'context layer' is compelling and addresses a real pain point for sales teams. The ability to stitch together insights from various sources is technically challenging and potentially defensible if executed well. However, the current description lacks detail on the specific AI/ML techniques used, the depth of integration, and the UX quality, which are crucial for adoption and differentiation. The 'revenue agents' concept is interesting but needs more clarity on its implementation and value proposition.

Traction 6/10

The company is YC-backed, which is a significant positive signal. The press coverage indicates early validation and interest. However, there's no mention of revenue, user numbers, or specific growth rates, which is expected for an early-stage company but limits the traction score. [Boost +1: Revenue/ARR mentioned]
