Automated Multi-Modal Testing for Agents

🌐 ashr.io 📍 Unspecified 👥 2 people
B2B Engineering Product and Design

Ashr is a fully contained test and evals platform that improves AI agents by ensuring accuracy and quality across a wide range of user journeys through your product. Ashr generates user journeys through your agents’ tool calls, results, and questions. We don’t generate one off tests, we generate large amounts of authentic user stories through your product, and pick up on errors, inconsistencies, and failures that would otherwise take hours of manual testing or get caught by a customer. We also work to ensure agent response quality in line with your business goals by offering custom evaluation metrics. Ashr works with voice, text, automated website generation, image, file generation, and multimodal. We’re also willing to generate custom input types or make modifications for anyone interested. Currently, we integrate as an SDK, and are proactively working to make our documentation and resources as accessible and easy to use as possible.

AI Investor Summary

Ashr is building an automated multi-modal testing platform for AI agents, addressing a critical gap in ensuring accuracy and quality for complex user journeys. Score Breakdown

Team 9/10

Strong technical team with impressive backgrounds from Google and Shopify. University of Waterloo CS is a plus. Shreyas's previous YC experience (though with a different company) is valuable. Rohan's specific domain expertise needs more clarity, but the combined technical depth is evident. [Boost +1: Founder from Google]

Market 8/10

Large addressable market in the rapidly growing AI agent space. The need for robust testing and evaluation is becoming critical as AI agents become more complex and integrated into products. Timing is excellent with the explosion of LLM-powered applications. Regulatory tailwinds are likely to emerge as AI quality and safety become paramount.

Product 7/10

Product shows promise with its multi-modal testing approach and focus on generating authentic user journeys, which is a key differentiator from one-off testing. The technical differentiation lies in its ability to mimic production environments and catch nuanced errors. Defensibility could be built through proprietary journey generation algorithms and data. UX quality is yet to be fully assessed but the concept is strong.

Traction 5/10

Early stage with limited public traction data. The positive press coverage and mentions on EveryDev.ai and YCombinator are good indicators of early interest and validation. The SDK launch is a positive step towards adoption. Revenue and user numbers are not yet disclosed, which is typical for this stage but limits a higher score.
